OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is an initiative of the Christian relief and development agency Samaritan's Purse. They have been blessing, proclaiming and demonstrating the love of God to underpriviledged children around the world, since 1993, with gift-filled shoeboxes wrapped and packed by children and adults in the UK, and all around the world. Since OCC started in 1993, they have delivered more than 220 million shoeboxes to children in over 160 countries!

It's a campaign that each year attracts individuals, schools & thousands of local churches from across the denominational spectrum to get involved between the months of October - November. In 2023, 11.3 million shoeboxes filled with gifts and goodies were sent to children who need them most in some of the toughest parts of the world (with 237,735 of those collected in the UK).
