Here at New Life we are keen to take "church" and the message of Good News to those who are not able to attend a church service in our town. We regularly take a small team to local residential homes where we hold a short service, singing 'good old' hymns, reading from the Bible, sharing a thought for the day and praying with and for the residents.

This month we had a great time with the elderly folks at two such homes and we also now meet some of them individually for a chat and to share our faith, while also now organising communion for those who love the Lord Jesus.

Please do email us if this would be of interest to you or indeed if you live in your own home but just can't get to church we would love to share with you too.

SamaritansPurseOperationChristmasChildOperation Christmas Child (OCC) is an initiative of the Christian relief and development agency Samaritan's Purse.  They have been blessing, proclaiming and demonstrating the love of God to underpriviledged children around the world, since 1990, with gift-filled shoeboxes wrapped and packed by children and adults in the UK.

It's a campaign that each year attracts thousands of local churches from across the denominational spectrum to get involved between the months of September - November.  In fact, it is now the UK's largest children's Christmas appeal.  Last year, 1.1million shoeboxes filled with gifts and goodies were sent to children who need them most in some of the toughest parts of the world.

If you would like to be part of the campaign or donate any gifts and goodies, please bring appropriate items as suggested under the OCC gift guidelines to the church (before 2nd Sunday in October)
